Feature Off or On – How the Wild Wishes Slot Works
In the base game of Wild Wishes slot, there are only 15 lines, though this can be increased to 40 during the feature. The game starts with a 5 by 3 grid.
You will notice a button to the immediate left of the ‘spin’ which says ‘Feature Off’ by default. Clicking this will turn it green, and the words change to Feature On. You now pay 10 units more on your line bet – for example if you were spinning for 10c per line the total spin cost goes up from $1.50c to $2.50c.
You will notice that the first of 5 gold lamps above the reels turns to face the left and is lit up in gold. This gives you a big advantage for the bonus feature – as you will see below.
Regular wins are topped by the blue genie wilds. This guy is huge, and wears a huge turban. He manages to look cheerful and angry in equal measure. If you hit 5 on a line, 750 coins are coming your way – with 100 for 4 and 20 for just 3. These symbols come stacked on reels 2, 3 and 4 – plus individually on reels 1 and 5. This gives you plenty of chances to hit multiple line wins.
There are 3 people on the reels, all of them beautifully drawn with a real middle eastern feel to them. The guy holding a red gem (presumably Aladdin!), is with 750 coins for 5, the lady and the older guy with a staff are both worth 300 for the full set. Next some a snake and crossed swords, with gems making up the smaller wins.
You will not find any special symbols on the reels. Instead, when you hit any win – things start getting interesting!
Respins and Line of Gold Lamps
Every time you hit a win, you get a free spin. If you then hit another win, the next spin is also free. Each time you win in a sequence, one of the lamps above the reels turns around and is lit up in gold. If you enabled the feature before you started spinning, the first lamp will be gold by default.
Your aim is to get 4 wins in a row (3 with the feature enabled). This gets you to the 4th lamp, which has the number 7 above it. This represents 7 free spins. If you get a 5th win in the sequence, you hit the lamp with the ‘?’ above it. This gets you a random number of free spins – anywhere between 10 and 50 are possible.
